Does ISA weigh more than
a conventional head tube?

The weight depends on the material of the
head tube, the processing and the headset
used. It is the bicycle manufacturer who
decides on the weight. In case of identical
material and construction, an aluminium
frame with ISA weighs about 50 grams more
than a frame without ISA. The additional
weight can therefore be compared to a
modern tachometer!
